Sun & M00N

Rebecca Diaz Professor Steve Jan Term 125 Sun & Moon 19 January 2020 “She Going to Lose The Glass Slipper Off Her Foot” She was born in the light of the moon, a moonchild she was. In a field of tulips subtly kissing her as she emerged into the world.  She was wrapped in the finest linens that her two godmothers presented to the kingdom. She was taken care of by angels her whole life, warriors, goddesses, and gods. Like grandfather clock made sure she knew where she was at all times.  Grandmother taught her how to keep her head on straight because beauty always hurts, like stepping on pins and needles. Grandfather and grandmother took care of her for the first 4 years of her life, and then trust the moonchild’s mother to finish the rest. She was as beautiful as her mother, and as strong and vibrant as her father.  She laid in bed most days dreaming of faraway lands that fixated in her minds.  She was able to see faraway lands when her eyes closed...
