  out in the field, where our thoughts lay naked to the sky i find myself surrounded by you    stars glisten in the night like your eyes by candle light        i wish to take this flight           and land in the midst of your fight upon arrival an ocean of memories seep into my skin   a vex of twirling feelings invite me to sit within     they feel like kisses that stayed on my skin pondering how beyond compare you were, how scary it all was, how gracious time is; to love again knowing i could never have you .  for in a world already determined you were caught astray, in my grasp to stay
